First introduced at the end of last year’s season, we’ve been pleased with how popular many of our newest products are. At Soil Kings, it’s our mission to offer Calgary landscapers and homeowners the best soils, mulches, and aggregates available in our area, which is why we’re always looking out for the newest, highest-quality materials we can find. If it’s been a little while since you last visited our website, here’s a quick guide to what’s new at Soil Kings.
Mulch
Effective at retaining soil moisture and insulating your plants, all of our mulches are made of natural wood products. They add beauty to your yard, fight weeds, and slowly compost to offer your plants a source of nutrition. We’re happy to offer Calgarians two new mulches: red mulch and Parkland Premium Plus™ mulch. Our red mulch is made with recycled wood to lower its environmental impact. It’s naturally dyed using vegetable-based colouring, and it should stay vibrant for at least 3 years. Parkland Premium Plus™ mulch is made of fine pine & spruce bark pieces. It’s a rich, undyed brown that complements any flower bed.
Aggregates
For play areas and landscaping around the house, aggregates are some of the best options for balancing practicality and a great looking yard. Our customers have been satisfied by our variety of rock in tans and greys, but we wanted to offer Calgarians something really special for their yard. That’s why we’re proud to say that we now sell Purple Sparkle Rock, Alberta Rainbow Rock, and limestone. Furthermore, we’ve extended our decorative rock sale until the end of August! Landscapers and homeowners know that Soil Kings provides the highest-quality soil mixes, mulches, and aggregates. However, there were a couple things that many of our customers were asking about that we weren’t offering yet. We’ve fixed that now. If you need rolls of landscape fabric or worm castings for your landscaping project, you can order them from Soil Kings at the same time you order your loam, mulch, or aggregate!
Our goal at Soil Kings is to constantly improve, grow our business, and provide Calgary and area with the highest quality landscaping materials available in our area. Our products are available for pick up or delivery, and we’re open all week, except for Sundays. If we have something you’d like to take a closer look at, just come by!
