We deliver all products LOOSE in BULK using our dump trucks. We do NOT use PLASTIC BAGS.

Soil Kings screened topsoil, also known as loam, comes from a high quality topsoil stockpile that is then been screened through a 1/2” (12 mm) screen.

PLEASE NOTE: our $200 two product delivery charge is based on the ordering of multiple products or quantities of products.

SOIL KINGS charges for the material separate from the delivery — otherwise known as the fair way. This means you pay for the material as needed, and then we apply a separate flat delivery charge of $120 for anywhere within the Calgary city limits.
The “Bag Guys” charge you $149 for every bag ordered.Essentially they added a “small” delivery fee directly onto the cost of each bag, but what this actually means is you get charged the delivery fee on every bag even though they only need to come to your location once!
Also if you buy from Soil Kings in bulk, when you are done placing the material, you are not left with a large, dirty plastic bag that you have no use for and do not know what to do with!

These photos represent an experiment of sorts, using KINGS premium garden mix. This flowerbed was grown by Andrea Slough (wife of Soil Kings co-owner, Murray Slough) in their backyard. She created the flowerbed on top of the patio stones using nothing but KINGS premium garden mix & water.
Since she made the bed directly on the patio stones, there was no existing soil, no amendments, nothing else.
